Welcome to Faith Family Christian Center

A place where you can truly come as you are and be loved.

Whether you are investigating the claims of Christianity or you already have a strong and vital relationship with Jesus Christ, Faith Family is a place you can call home. We welcome a casual atmosphere where people are at home in a T-shirt and jeans or wearing their "Sunday go to meeting" best.

We believe that Jesus Christ has provided a way for people to live with peace and hope, even in a world where there seems to be neither . . . We would love to help you experience the hope that only He can give.

Come join us this weekend at Faith Family Christian Center
and discover the God you are looking for!

Suggested Readings To Read Through The Bible In A Year

Tuesday    January 19, 2010   Exodus 1-4 and Psalm 9

Exodus 3:14-15

God said to Moses, "I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I am has sent me to you.' "

[15] . . . .' This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.

I Am – there is so much wrapped up in that name that God declares as His.

I Am - the self existent one and I am dependent on no one or nothing else . . .

I Am - the one who causes things to be, the creator of everything . . .

I Am - the immutable one; I am not in the process of becoming; I will not change for I am the same yesterday, today and forever .. .

I Am - eternal; I have no beginning and no ending . . .

All of those things are wrapped up in what God revealed to Moses when he said my name is I Am who I Am. But perhaps the most important meaning of what he said that day to Moses was the fact he was saying Moses I am with you. No matter where you go or what kind of circumstances you encounter, know that I am with you . . . forever . . . I will be there. Moses, in his fear, kept telling God, “I am not . . .” but God in as much said, “so what? I am! I am everything you need to accomplish what it is I have called you to do and called you to be. Just do what I ask and you will see my glory revealed.”

That promise to Moses is a promise to you and me this morning. We are included in verse 15 – we are one of the generations who are told to remember that the name of our God is I Am. God truly is The One Who Is Always Present. He is with you today. He will be with you tomorrow. And because God IS, every promise He has made us in Christ will surely be fulfilled.
