Welcome to Faith Family Christian Center

A place where you can truly come as you are and be loved.

Whether you are investigating the claims of Christianity or you already have a strong and vital relationship with Jesus Christ, Faith Family is a place you can call home. We welcome a casual atmosphere where people are at home in a T-shirt and jeans or wearing their "Sunday go to meeting" best.

We believe that Jesus Christ has provided a way for people to live with peace and hope, even in a world where there seems to be neither . . . We would love to help you experience the hope that only He can give.

Come join us this weekend at Faith Family Christian Center
and discover the God you are looking for!

Revelation 1:1 (NIV) The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,

We finish out the year – and our reading of the Bible through - with the final book in the Bible. (It was not necessarily the last book written, but because of the literature type it has been placed as the last book) John lets us know where the book came from and who it is about. It is the revelation of Jesus Christ. I believe that means two things to us as we read this prophetic book of things that would soon take place. 1. Jesus is the one revealing these things to John. In the Spirit, John has a series of encounters via visions where he sees and hears the Lord Jesus share about things that are going to come to pass. 2. Jesus is portrayed as the conquering king over all. John sees great turmoil that takes place in the spirit world as Satan attacks the Kingdom of God on various levels over the decades and centuries to come. However, when all is said it done it is Jesus Christ who reigns supreme and his church rises in glory to be his dwelling place for eternity. Jesus wins!

So as we read through this great book again, let me encourage you to look for Jesus. There will be talk about the false prophet and the beast . . . and the dreaded mark of the beast . . . there will be mention of great tribulation and cataclysmic events that wipe out whole sections of the earth or the heavens . . . but as we read of these events and creatures and try to figure out “who, what, when, and where” let us keep looking for Jesus. One of the things that we glean from chapters 2 and 3 where Jesus addresses the churches that represent all churches in all time is that the most important thing we do in our Christian walk is love Jesus. When we love Jesus we can live with this assurance that we are going to overcome. We are not promised an easy life. That is clear in the Revelation – but we can rest assured that as we live out our love for Jesus there is nothing that can separate us from him and there is nothing that take away our hope of life eternal in the place that he has prepared for us.

Revelation 1:5-6 (NIV)To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, 6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.
