Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ through whom we obtained salvation.

Thomas and Gladys Ukwute

On behalf of my family, Ministry and the Students of Project Hope. I want thank you for your prayers and financial support. The year 2020 was a challenging and difficult year but your prayers and financial support have helped us confront the challenges it presented with strength, courage, and hope.

We were able to provide food for over 5000 families who otherwise would have starved during the lockdown and months after the lockdown. But the greatest challenge we face now is the lack of jobs that has left many families still struggling to survive.

In the church many people have not returned back to the church because of the fear of the second wave which has reduced the income of the church about 45%. We have lost so many precious leaders and prominent people to this virus. The fear has increased with the outbreak of Ebola in the West African region which could easily spread to other nations.

We had to close down our skill acquisition center (Project Hope) for two month because of the outbreak of yellow fever which killed over 45 young men and women in matter of weeks. We lost three students during that period. Thanks to God that this has been brought under control after a massive vaccination drive across the State.

When we reopened the school in January 2021 only 60% of our students returned. We are trusting God that the fear the epidemic brought will go away soon to enable others resume.

Despite these challenges we will be graduating and empowering 76 students who have completed their training on the 13th of March 2021. Please keep this in your prayers

We launched an evangelism outreach into the rural areas of Bayelsa, Edo and Delta States for church planting in 2021. Four Crusades have been scheduled in Feb and March. We formed four teams to go into different villages within the period with the Gospel. Please pray for them as they go into these difficult terrains.

Please pray for Nigeria for stability and peace because of the rate at which terrorist are flooding into our forest. There is fear of eminent jihad in this nation which may be worse than Yeman if nothing is done to stop it.

Kidnapping has increased in all the region, killings and violence against farmers and farmland by herders has increased that we may be facing food crisis in the coming months as farmer are afraid to go to their farms.

Please pray for my team and I as the threat against Christian leaders has increased. I now have armed guard outside my house in the village. We need prayers God's protection because this nation seems to be falling apart so quickly.

Thank you very much for all your prayers and financial support. We will continue to pray for His divine abundance upon you and your family. Once again thanks for your prayers and help in making this vision a reality. Together we are affecting the world for the Kingdom of God. God bless you.

In His service,
