What's Happening at Faith Family!

You can help!  FFCC partners with FISH of Cowlitz County to distribute food boxes to our community.

What we do:

During the month: Our team collects food items from church donations and other local resources.  Our distribution day is usually a Monday, about once a month or every other month. 

The day before: After the Sunday 11am worship service the day before our food distribution, many hands are needed to clear the foyer, setup tables, and carry boxes of food.

The day of distribution: Perishable food items are added to the food boxes, additional food donations arrive from local grocery stores and are sorted and displayed for recipient selection.  Volunteers are needed to receive and record recipient information from the FISH coordinator, greet and check-in recipients, assist recipients through the pickup area, and load food boxes into vehicles.  Distribution ends around noon, followed by a quick cleanup, putting away tables and extra food items. It's a busy morning and many hands are needed! 

How to receive food: Call 360-636-1100 weekdays between 9 a.m. and noon. Food distribution begins at 10am, and food boxes are only provided to those who have received a number from the FISH office on the day of distribution.

Help support the everyday needs of the Casa de Fe Orphanage by selecting a gift tag from the giving tree in the church foyer.

* Gifts will be hand-carried by the FFCC Team to the orphanage

Ladies please join our monthly meeting Monday Aug 10 @ 12:30pm at Faith Family.

Along with our usual business, we will be discussing how we can help with the Ecuador trip Lunch and Silent Auction fundraiser.

Mary/Martha is about fellowship and service in and for the body of Christ.

Annual Church Picnic at Faith Family Christian Center Play Field

The annual picnic / potluck will be held right here on the church property, across the parking lot at the ball field / playground, directly following the 11am worship service.  Bring your favorite side-dishes and desserts.  The church will provide barbecue proteins, and beverages.  There will be seating and pop-up tents for shelter from direct sun.  Feel free to bring your own camp chairs and outdoor games as well.  Looking forward to a great time of food, fellowship, and fun together!

When: Sunday Aug 16, 1pm (after worship service)
Where: FFCC Playfield (across the parking lot from the church)
What to Bring: Side dish and/or dessert, camp chair (optional), outdoor games (if you want)
