Phyllisrae faithfully served as our pianist and a vocalist here at FFCC for several years.  She also worked in our day care, workiing both in the kitchen as our cook and in the infant room as a very caring "grandmother" to the babies.  In recent times she has been living in Vader and attending church in the Chehalis area.  Her battle with cancer is over, and today she is in the presence of her Lord and Savior ... forever!  Join us on Friday as we give thanks for her life and celebrate her victory.  It is a great opportunity to ( … Read More … )

Life is a precious gift!  You can help share Christ's love with moms, dads, and babies  - born and unborn - by taking one of the baby bottles in the bassinet in the foyer and filling it with changes, bills, and checks!  Take the bottle today and bring it back on Father's day.  We will deliver them all the the Caring Pregnancy Center of Cowlitz County.  Thank you for your generous support!

Work with kids!  We offer classes for all ages of children and on both Sunday morning and Wednesday evening.  If you enjoy being around children, we're sure to have a spot for you!  A warm smile to make a child feel welcome, a calm presence in a busy classroom, a creative spirit to bring the Bible to life, an athletic energy to head up an outdoor game, or just an extra pair of hands to tie a shoe are some of the ways you can make a difference!

One of the highlights of summer is that our Wednesday evening children's program moves outdoors!

Starting the 2nd or 3rd week of June, Grades 1-6 will meet at the playground after dinner.  Bible lessons will be taught on the grassy field, followed by games of free play on the field or playground.  Grades 7-8 will get in on the outdoor fun as "teen helpers".

 

The Preschool / Kindergarten will meet indoors for their lesson and crafts, with generous play time in the courtyard or on the smaller children's playground.
